Alpha Burley Pro 18" Boots
Alpha Burley Pro 18" Boots
I am looking at getting a new pair of boots to replace my old Lascrosse Alpha Bulry Sports. I was looking at the New Alpha Burley Pro 18" boots. Do anyone have these boots. Plus I am open to other suggestions. I love my old boots.

I just bought a pair of Danner Pronghorn 17", they are very light and very comfortable (once you get them broke in).

Thanks for the reply. The Danner Proghorns are great pair of boots.

Bass Pro Redhead brand was my choice after giving up on LaCrosse quality. Thing about Bass Pro is the Redhead brand is an exchange at the counter warranty. I have not tried it yet, but I've seen people exchange Redhead items that were just worn out from normal use. Clearly this is most helpful if you live near a Bass Pro, but if you do its worth consideration.

I recently bought the Danner Jackal 2 snake boots. Very light, comfortable, and reasonably priced at Cabela's.

For rubber boots, I love the Lacrosse Aeroheads. Super comfy. They work well for me.
Snake boots, I have the old Danner Sharptail Covey's. They recently started making them again. Mine were about 10 years old, and the soles came apart this year. Got some serious mileage out of em. I'll be getting the new, probably not as good, version, before next spring.

I just bought some alpha pull ons..Only thing to knit pick is the actual camo...it seems to be dip or whatever is already starting to wear in places.
I've got 3-4 weeks solid on them,
So far I like em,my feet are dry and that's all I was really wanting. They did have em on sale for like $120

I bought the Alpha Burley pro 18" in the beginning of the fall season and wore them for deer hunting then spring turkey. Put on many miles hiking in them. No complaints so far. Some reviews complained of the orange on the inside of the boot transferring to their clothing, but I haven't had that happen, yet. I doubt you'll regret the purchase.
Re: Alpha Burley Pro 18" Boots
I tried on a pair the other day. I did not like the felling of the chin area. It seemed thick than my old Alpha Burley Sports. They would probably break in and few better. I may still get a pair. I have found they on sale for $83.00.
