Have you slung a gun over your shoulder with the vest on yet...? In appearance, it looks like the medal frame will beat the hell out of a gun.

It's not the 17' model. You'll have kickstand trouble if u but older than 17'

I think I would like to try the Long Spur, especially since I use a gobbler lounger.

I got mine from Midway for $52.00 due to that model being discounted cause a newer model was coming out. I took the frame out right away. I use a Turkey Thug Gobbler Chair. The kickstand is a good idea. But the straight legs will dig into the ground too much in soft ground. I have hunt five days with it so far. I love the vest. I like the pocket design. I have not used the a Camelback bladder for water in it yet. I plan on getting me one for it. The striker pocket is cool. No more loose strikers. I added a separate box call holder. The built in box call holder is too tight for my custom box call. I attached the Primo Box Call Holder to the removable shoulder strap. I carry a blow up butt cushion in my game bag for fast setups. The cushion that comes with the vest is not good enough for me. I think I need a XL. Model. Right now most of the vest that are still available are the Standard Model. Mine standard model is just a tad to small. Over all I love the vest. Next year I am going to order the new model in XL. I will give this one to my daughter.

I got one at the convention. I hunted out of it maybe 6 times. I gave it to my brother for his birthday. Just not the vest for me. Liked it at first then after lugging it a few miles and every limb whacking the frame I decided to go back to my old Bucklick creek vest.

I just got this one for myself and has a lot more room for my glasses, hearin' aid, cell phone & other "necessities" :LMAO:
Pocket for the box call is designed for a smaller one than I have :o
I believe I'll get along a lot better with this , than my other!!

After two years I used it 4 or 5 times each year and then either just used fanny pack and air cushion or fanny pack and gobbler lounger. These kick stand vests will never be as good or even close to the little big horn sit anywhere vest.

Love mine but that kickstand sucks pulled it out after making the very first set on a bird using it. When repositioning for 2nd set on the bird it came out then I killed the bird and stand has collected dust since. Love the vest tho
