Nikon Turkey pro scope.

Post by Gobbler »

I can't wait to use it. I can see the target again. No batteries to go bad like a red dot. Lets see if I can quit missing this year. So far after adjusting it it works great.

Disclaimer: I'm wearing my glasses to hunt with also.

Yep, all my misses were due to faulty equipment also. :geek:

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

I'm a strong believer in any type of optics. Choke and load combos shoot so tight now that it's easy to miss.
Either red dots or scopes. I prefer a scope myself. I believe I'm gonna keep my 835 just the way she is, and not swap out my scope for a red dot.

I have an Aimpoint CompM4 on my shotgun now, but I have a Conquest 1.8-5x32 that I may try this year. I don't know. Choices, choices, choices...

Amen Brother! I hand load Tungsten for my 10 gauge, and at 20 yards my pattern isn't much larger than a baseball. As much as a turkey moves his head, when they get close in I shoot for bottom 1/3 of the neck.

They must be discontinuing them. They are 129 for camo and 119 for black at Natchez Shooter Supply. I ordered a MO BU to put on my 870 SM SP that is also breakup along with the saddle and rings I have that are breakup. Should be a killer setup. I will not be doing the battery operated toys on my turkey guns anymore. Should be here today.
