clucknpurr....Perserving Turkey Feet...Here's what I do

Post by The SPURSUADER »

In case you didn't see my reply on your Post...I position Turkey Foot in Position I want it to remain such as a Middle Finger Salute AKA Hat Hanger or Spur Necklace Hanger and then I take tape and make little Funnel around top to hold small mound of Borax...Leave a few weeks and remove tape and it will be stiffer than a grooms ____ lol The Borax will Draw all the dampness from the Blood, Marrow ETC..Of Course this is a Simple DIY Example and there's other ways to do this also but Here's 1 I formed to a Turtle Shell I picked up on my way out 1 day From Turkey Hunting and made a Wing Bone call from Same Bird...This 1 is several years old and never a problem with just simple Borax....Good Luck...The Black color you see there at the top is actually a Blood stain where 1 of my pellets hit lol....I gotta a tighter choke now LMBO!!!
