Gobbler mount

Post by TRKYHTR » July 29th, 2012, 9:04 pm

Spent the day mounting my big gobbler from MO I killed this spring. I am just going to show pics so it is pic heavy. I still have some work to do. I have to do the tail but it wont take long. Lots of grooming. Hope you like it.

Here is the finished product. I will do a little grooming but it just has to dry now.

Nice !! I just got my heads in the mail and am finishing up my Rio right now. Did you have to open up the eyes ? I did.

No I didn't. Who did your freeze drying? Boondocks did mine and did a good job. I also used their body for the first time. and it worked great.

Fantastic is right. The Head looks awesome. I love the walk on the limb. It shows the beard and spurs beautifully.

I got my heads from Boondocks and the bodies also. I stopped in there last year while hunting in Kentucky but didn't get to meet Brett as he was hunting with his son in Mexico.
