Examples of dead mounts

Post by ehgbyf »

I am going to get a Gould’s mounted and I like the hanging dead mounts. Does anybody have any pictures of mounts like this?

Thanks

I guess not. Try some of the taxidermy sites.
Put you plans in the nail scarred hands.

Wow. I’ve never seen this style before. Pretty cool idea.

South Carolina. If you look closely, you can also see a GPS transmitter on his back.

Sweet! They made me give the radio back from the banded FL Osceola that I shot in '93.

Nice mount deerhunt. I live in SC not far from that banding project.

They downloaded the data off the receiver and since they can't change the batteries, they didn't want to put it back out on a bird. Was thrilled they let me keep the ~$1,600 piece of equipment for my mount. :D
