First Deer
This is Boyd's first big game season. Thursday and Friday was Montana's youth deer season. The district we hunted gave him the option of either sex whitetail or mule deer buck with his general deer tag. He wasn't planning to pass up anything. We saw 14 whitetail does and fawns over a big Block Management Area and one whitetail buck but only got close to 3 of those. Until.......we were almost back to the truck when I spotted this doe. He made a great shot with my 7mm Mag at 100 yards. This is his first deer and he was very excited. Olivia and her big hair was with us and has a tag but was happy to see Boyd shoot.
