Got A Call From The Doctor.

Kidney biopsy showed that I do have cancer. It is very slow growing .So I can wait til January for the surgery. Gonna lose about 10 % of the kidney. Surgery will be performed by robot so it shouldn't be too invasive. Hey at least I get to deer hunt and should be healed in plenty of time for turkey season. God's got by back.Gonna be fine.

Well, that sucks. I was worried about you, and hoping it came out okay. Hope it is just in the one small area, and hasn't spread any. Man, I hate that crap, and it has been running thru my wife's family for the last year. My nose still isn't 100 per cent healed from the chunk they took out. Keep positive. Good luck hunting.

Glad to hear the good news, Billie!! If a guy's gotta be laid up for a few weeks, January is a perfect time. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. A minor bump in the road.

Hey Red sorry to hear this but I have a friend out here that went through this many years ago and he is still doing well. You will be okay and back chasing turkeys as soon as you heal up. Prayers for your well being!

Hate to hear you have any kind of cancer, AT ALL,... but good to hear that they will be able to take care of you with this OP.

LOL, as for me, it will be awhile before I can hit the woods just yet. Just not getting much movement out of my leg and arm.
Going back in the hospital Tuesday for more surgery,.... Oh goody!!!

I look like a freak right now with my arm locked up in one position.

Makes sleeping a pain,... literally!

I hope it all works out for you red, but I would be so scared it may spread that I would be demanding to have the procedure done right away, like yesterday. There ain't no damn stinking dirty, filthy ass deer worth a mans life.

I'm sure everything will be fine. By January me and Ticeman should be good to go on the robot operation! Guess the doc didn't tell you that Obama Care only pays for 2 monkeys to run the robot and you drew the short straw!

I hope for the best for you Red. I hate to hear it, but the news sounds pretty good as far as cancers go. Sounds like you'll be back in turkey killing mode for the spring!
