Missed first day of VA rifle season.......

Post by CamoMan4025 »

No, I didn't miss a deer, I actually missed going out at all the first day. My wife has been wearing a cardiac monitor for 2 weeks now. We went to a wedding Friday night and when we got home, there was a message on the home phone. It was her cardiologist saying he saw some things he didn't like and wanted her admitted to the hospital. Well, we ended up getting here about midnight Friday. They are going to do a cardiac cath tomorrow. She apparently has "V-Tach"??? Hopefully she will be back home tomorrow night.

I think this is the first time I have ever missed the first day of deer season! I hope she gets to come home tomorrow evening and all goes well. Maybe when she gets home and takes a nap, I can sneak out with my Weatherby???.....LOL.

I pray that all goes well with your wife, Kevin. Get her healthy, the deer will wait..Godspeed, Mrs Camoman...
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

All went well in the cath lab! Hopefully meds will control the other issue. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!

I was afraid I wouldn't be allowed here. Then I saw someone let you in, and I figured the standards couldn't be that high since they allowed a bomb sniffin' redneck to join.

V-Tach pretty much means tachycardia....tachy means fast and cardia meaning heartbeat.
Its when your heart rate is over 100 bpm.
What is her heart rate normally? What were you doing when heart heart rate increased? some people do have hypertension and tachycardia.
Sorry to hear this, but hopefully it will all be ok. I know that with proper medications she can control her heart rate. We just hope it doesnt affect her activities daily living.

-Respectfully
