Well...we seen him!

For the last two weeks we've been taunted by a big ol buck running back and forth across a fence line about a quarter mile away, but we've not been able to get close enough to him with our bow. Well, tonight my buddy had a perfect silhouette of him at 70 yds standing on top of a hill.

My buddy texted me as fast as he could to tell me "big ol boy headed your way!, 12 pts,!" I never seen him and he snuck in behind me in the woods, winded me at 50 yds, blew, and took off.

We get outta the field and my buddy estimates him to be 3.5-4 yr. old buck that weighs AT LEAST 250+ lbs! The ol boy better not be there come gun season in 3 weeks cause he goes for a ride in the Chevy if he is. Can't wait!

Sweet! Ya better get him soon, 'cause the suckazz part is that the main rut will be over by shotgun season, and he'll be back to his original home range. That could be either real close or miles away. Either way, it's motivation to be in the stand.
