My Buddy Jon and I went out for a goose shoot this morning.. Had a few woodies buzz the decoys and they died.. Than had 4 geese bow up in the dekes.. We were crosswinding them due to homes, well the second we both touched the trigger all 4 heads aligned and resulted in our limit in two shots.. Than the fun began, pigeons started to circle so we knocked down 5 of them as well.

What dem Geese Taste Like? We only have fake yard decorations down in Tampa.

O.K.. Basically while cooking them you try to cover up the taste ie marinades, injecting, jaccard tenderizer etc.. It makes very good jerky however and that is what we do.. We usually take a large pile and have bratwurst made as well and they are very good..

Most folks I talk to always have this "great goose recipe" and when ya ask um if they want some, they defer

I do goose ka bobs...mushrooms or onions in between...or nothing in between. wrapped in bacon with some raspberry chipotle bbq...mmm mm mmmmmmmm

Man you are killin them birds this season, awesome. I lost my only spot and no duck or geese this year I'm jealous. Goose breasts I have this great recipe and I'll take em all

3 Man limit this AM.. New geese down, field had 100 last night.. Had 400 come in.. One little squeaker love shooting them.. Could have limited 10 guys..
