They passed a Law last year so that you could not rifle hunt on public land during the spring Turkey season.
I was reading the FWC rules for this fall. And on private land after November you can kill aTurkey with a Bow, Crossbow, Muzzelloader, Shotgun, Pistol or Rifle.
LETS GET IT ON MF-ERS!!! By any means possible.
I personally am using my shotgun. Although I wouldn't mind trying to draw my pistol on one. I'm fairly fast on the draw.

Man that gobbler would be in flight around 35mph before I cleared leather.

I was in the thought that you may accidentally shoot yourself in the leg like that one guy did....I have watched that youtube link at least 5 times now. :0 lol and I really don't want you shooting yourself...that was what came to my mind when you mentioned cowboy guns. lolgobblerD wrote:Man that gobbler would be in flight around 35mph before I cleared leather.

I guess the only way to do this would be to stand there in camo using a mouth call and when the Gobbler got close enough ... CLUCK to get his head up and then quick draw and shoot it clean off.
