I don’t know if it’s all downhill from here. But I can tell you from experience it doesn’t get any better between 50 and at least 60.

I suppose turkey killing should start drastically declining considering the Young Guns post (whatever it was called) from last year. If I'd only known that in my younger days I'd have worked harder to kill more.

I always said that turning 40 didn't bother me, but the speed at which it felt like I went from 30 to 40 was my biggest concern. It meant 50 wasn't really that far away. Now look at me........ I'm there and it feels like all I did was blink.

Hey, I remember when I turned 50 and the wife sent me to the store for something for dinner and when I got back the entire dining room was decked out in Black, including her and the kids! Gifts included WD40 pills, etc. Now I'm 71 and still going strong. My son Nick is half my age and says he hopes he can still drag his ass through the Big Cypress swamps too when he's my age. It keeps you young chasin' them gobblers!
