Montana Sunset

Post by Hobbes_mobile »

Pretty cool sunset this evening over the Scratchgravel Hills northwest of Helena this evening.

The colors went up a few notches a few minutes later.

Nice pics. Thx. Reminds me a little of my trip to Nebraska several years ago.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Helena doesn't have the best views, but good sunsets and rises. The Flint Creek Range us near Phillipsburg and can be seen on my way from Helena to Missoula (about half way). Today's photo while on my way:

Deer Lodge Mountain (left) and Mt. Powell in the Flint Creek Range. At least that's my best guess.
