I may consider eating one of them, but it's pretty easy to consider them pets. I suppose if one becomes aggressive towards us, he'll be first up.
However, plucking has never been a task that I enjoy.

Cool video. It's funny how far they stick their beaks in to drink. I'd have thought they'd try to leave their nasal holes out of water for air

Turkeys do not have a swallowing mechanism. They dip their heads in and raise their neck, so gravity can take over. Birds like to peck at droplets of water that are higher than their head. It makes the water go down.
