Moms ‘n Pops, Chilluns, & Extended Family – Part 2

Post by HunterGKS »

After lunch today, I drove by the pond to check of the goose families.
There are 4 family units with 3 by the pond & 1 across the road in the
field. You can see the size/age difference on the 3 sets of goslings.
2 of the families have 3 young & the 3rd 1. I’m not sure if the birds
across the road have any at all. I couldn’t see any & the pics don’t
show any.

The 1st time I saw them was a week ago today & the growth is quite
noticeable. I hope to get by again on either Friday or next Tuesday.
It shouldn’t be much longer before 1 bunch fledges.
