Day 26, 05/17 of the 2019 Ohio Spring Turkey Season.

I woke up this morning at 04:15 A.M. to cloudy skies as well as not being at 100%.
I checked The Weather Channel & they were predicting t-storms off & on for most
of the day. I decided that my time was better spent staying in bed, which I did
until 07:30. It hadn’t rained much so I got out & mowed most of the yard until it
was time for lunch. I went to Pete’s, a local bar & had lunch with a couple of
farmer friends, 1 of whom owns the woods I hunt. After a good lunch of ham loaf,
corn, smashed tators, & a roll & lamenting the lack of bird activity, I headed home
& finished mowing. Still no rain but the skies look ominous. I will be vegetating
on the couch in front of the TV until bedtime to recharge the batteries & give it
hell the next 2 days.

I plan to get out again tomorrow. The WC predicts t-storms at 05:00 & cloudy the
rest of the day with temps from the mid-50s to the mid-80s.
