If the rain forecast cleans up some next week, Dad and I plan to head to SE Kansas to some private land we have been graciously allowed to hunt as of the last two years. My schedule and his don't allow us to get there till somewhat late in the season, but this season has seemed somewhat late across a lot of the country. Does anyone have experience this week in Kansas to know how birds are gobbling or not currently?

Anyone hunting in SE Kansas?
Re: Anyone hunting in SE Kansas?
I am north of Topeka.
Had one gobbling hard on the roost but he followed hens away from me. It's been pretty quiet up here otherwise with the cool rainy weather. Usually this week the hens start sitting and it gets pretty crazy as the birds are still love drunk.
Good luck

It doesn't seem like that is going to stop for quite some time. Last winter was second wettest season on record in Arkansas. Just about a week ago, Little Rock tripled the single day rain record from 1.8" to 5.44". I'm assuming this rain will end at some point and we will roll into a drought, but who knows till it happens.
