Strength in numbers
I guess these birds have to deal with yotes passing bye on a fairly regular basis.

He probably likes turkey nuggets
Re: Strength in numbers
I saw a large group of bird surround a yote one time, whip him and he took off running. I had a witness with me as well. We were in TX deer hunting and watched it unfold from about 400 yards away.

Re: Strength in numbers
Watched a coyote sneak up within 60 yards of a bachelor group a few weeks ago. They putted once at him, coyote knew it was busted and it just turned and left. ha
Re: Strength in numbers
Coyote is gonna be hard pressed to catch a healthy mature bird. Good luck on the birds.

I consider killing a coyote a bonus during turkey season!
