ThermaCell Question
I have been sitting out in the evenings several times over the past 2 weeks overlooking a
large bean field & a large corn field. The deer have really done a job on both & we have
5 nuisance tags for antlerless deer & have gotten 1.
The question: The sweat bees have been really bad, not so much biting but buzzing around
& being PIAs. I have been using a T-cell & it doesn't seem to have much affect. This is the
1st time over many years that the T-cell hasn't cleared the area of all flying insects. Has
anyone else had this problem with sweat bees &, if so, what did you use to get rid of the
little pests?
Thx.

Re: ThermaCell Question
Those are corn flies. Sweat bees are black and sting. I dont think thermacells do much for corn flies, but they also don’t bite, sting, or do anything else that bothers me so I haven't paid attention

Yep they corn flies George. I thought that was your hand but I found the same hand with the flies on it when I googled it. False information again. What’s up with you moderators these days.

Re: ThermaCell Question
Still flies are what I've always called them. They don't sting.
Re: ThermaCell Question
I thought they were only attracted to sweat....
