Picture Orientation Solution

Post by HunterGKS » August 7th, 2018, 12:17 pm

I have noticed & have experienced a problem with pictures being posted that display upside down or sideways.
Rick provided the following information that will help those who store their pics on their PC before posting here.

The work around is to open the pictures in the Paint program that is included on Windows computers. After the
image is opened, you do nothing other than save it. Afterwards, the image should be fine even after uploaded.
Keep in mind that the image will look normal when you open it in Paint. You still need to save it. Paint adds
information to the image that is required for some programs to display it properly.

Hey George your pic the other day of the bike wreck looked fine and was right side up before you posted that you deleted the original and went to flicker. They looked fine before that on my phone.

When I looked at the pics in the original post, a lot of them were all cattywompus. They may have
looked OK as your phone may have some kind of auto-correct software.
