In my opinion those little garbage eating rodents are the worst thing on turkey nests and young birds right above the coyote, may he soon be road kill.

No fall season in GA. May have to make a trip over to AL around Thanksgiving.

I saw a line of tracks the other day that looked like a gobbler strutting for a jenny.

we have a Oct1 2 week shotgun season and a lengthy late bow season. Hope I can connect with a wily old gobbler with my Tominator shotgun muzzleloader.

Tough time of the year for a turkey dog. Mine is climbing the walls, too hot to run much. They want to hunt 10X worse than we do.

Yes. I'm going to NW Nebraska to hunt Merriam and taking my brittany to chase sharptail. I can't wait

Hopefully we can find some? Anyone know anything on the grouse numbers around Crawford? Might cut the trip short and hit halsey/mckelvie on the way home

I agree with you about Fall season. Great time to be in the woods & who knows a guy might come away with a nice bird.
