Ithaca Tikka 412 I belive. Some people call them the LSA 55. Made in Finland, imported by Ithaca in New York. I beleive they were made from 70-81. Alot of speculating here. My grandfather bought him and my father one sometime in the 70s. This is my grandfathers that he gave me. My brother has my dads

I have a true Valmet 412s. Tikka did make a valmet 412 copy 512 maybe? The barrels were interchangeable with Valmets. The Ithaca lsa 55 is a totally different gun I think. Mine is 12 over 243. I had a reduce load worked up at about 1800 fps that would work on them but not destroy anything. Perfect solution for those birds that want to stand between 45 and 50 yards and look and gobble. Thanks for the memory.

I just enlarged the picture and it looks like you have a Ithaca Lsa55 based on the fact that the action release is in the side. What caliber is the rifle? 222?

That one is in nice shape too. I was at a gun shop in va 15 years ago and the guy there had 8 tikkas stockpiled. They were priced at 1500.
