Been driving 2-3 hours every weekend the past four springs... But thanks to a relocation, I can now hunt birds in 3 states within a 30 minute drive!

Between 100 and 250 miles to public land. The 100 mile trip can be a day trip if I leave by 3 AM or so. Everything else is usually a couple of nights or more, either in a cabin or a tent.

80 miles, one way. Two years ago it was 50 miles. Before that, I had a bunch of close public land and didn’t bother with anything over 30 miles.

Pretty sure i’ll drive as far as it takes if I have the time to do it.

We have birds within 20 minutes, but those birds have previously taken a limited draw license. However, it's going to the general license this year. I'll hunt it with my wife and kids and some buddies that won't travel to hunt turkeys.

I'll attemp to fill my general license in another Region approximately 6 hours away. I'll hunt additional specific Region licenses at anywhere from 3.5 to 7 hours away. I'll stay in anything from a tent to a cheap hotel when I hunt. No leases here, but public or private open to public.

I walk out of my back yard to hunt here in Pa. Could not imagine having to pay to hunt, but I know that is the only option for many. And drive 829 miles to hunt Missouri in the National Forrest.

About 5 miles to private in LA, and about 45 minutes to an hour for public in MS.

Very fortunate I can walk out the door and have 3 miles of prime river bottom. But I also have hundred or so parcels scattered over 3 counties that are about half hour. Depends on day I guess

All of those answers sound great to me. There is so little public ground in TX and I haven't found a lease that interests me yet. My closest hunt this year is 1 hour away and my furthest is in Nebraska...no, make that Florida.
