I ride my airboat and pull up to the shore line and cut it off. Then I listen. After awhile I hear a crow. Then finally a gobble. Make a note and move on. :toothy7:
I don't ever call, too many real crows and owls.
These turkeys hear airboats when they are still in the egg dreaming of hatching. So they are use to it. :LMAO:

I've experienced that as well. I like the sound of an airboat early in th morning.

😂I callem Driver Ed’s here. Scouting from the front seat. Had one tell me the turkeys couldn’t hear the quite Toyota he had. Might have been true to but what he didn’t know is I (you and wildlife too) almost always hear your tires on gravel, sucking at the mud and/or splashing in the puddles well before your motor. LOL, what a joke....
“Son, Turkey HUNTING starts at 40yds and in. If you can kill him farther that’s all you’re doing- KILLING. Make him think he’s answering you, call him up, kill him closer-Man! Now that’s what it’s meant to be…” Johnnie Keel ( an Old Pro most never know)
