Well that's a great early Christmas present. I'd be tickled to be hunting turkeys anywhere right now, but Florida would be great. No fall season in Arkansas for several years now. I am new enought to turkey hunting that I don't even know what a fall hunt is like.

Congrats to Larry!

I just came home from walking the dog and in the back field near where they roost I saw 7 toms 3 of them were strutting around of course no camera. My little puppy wanted to go chase them maybe I need to get him going to be a turkey break dog lol ! as far as Florida goes I have 2 golden birds now so I should never have to go back after one of those overpriced small dark long legged easterns ever again LOL

We no longer hunt them in the fall since it is long beards only (a few archery exceptions) and prefer the spring hunts. Often see strutters on the game cameras by January. Not a surprise.

My Guy here in polk county has a bumper crop of Gobblers pure Osceola's not like those cross breeds outfitters north of Orlando. :bootyshake: :LMAO:
He charges $1000.00 for an awesome hunt 1 Gobbler.
If you want to get your bird and not pay 2000 plus . Use him.

I’m thinking about giving up on ducks and hunt turkeys here next week. I have access to a small150 acre track next to a pretty good WMA. Bubba
