I want to thank all of my Brothers & Sisters that have served in the Military. Without you, we wouldn’t be the country that we are today.

I would like to encourage any of you who have pics & would like to share them to post them here with a little of your service background.

I was in the US Air Force from 1969 to 1973. This is me sometime in mid 1969, about 60 pounds lighter, on my way to MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL from Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, TX with a stop over at home in Chatfield, Ohio.

Most of my old Navy pictures from the 60s are on old 35mm slides but I'll dig around. You have me beat with the 60# but not by much ld_glor

Picture has to be early 1968 before we left for an 8 month Med cruise. Best I could do on short notice.

Thank you Veterans for the freedom to worship where I choose, say what I want to say and do what ever I damn well please. America is the greatest place on earth and we ALL owe that to the Veterans for giving us that FREEDOM.
