Whoooopppppeeeeee!!

1st time in 4 seasons, the weatherman had it rain when it was suppose to and my food plot is up and goin!
I got back from MI last Tuesday night(Wednesday morn.) at 3am and to bed at 4am, up at 7:30 and disc my 1 1/4 acres 2 times (still hard small spots that weren't worked) ..spread 200# of wheat seed and drag spiked it and planted 50#'s of rye and 25#'s of crimson clover and spiked again and then got .9" of rain on Thursday from Harvey.
Got another 1" of rain between yesterday and the day before.

It should be good growing to keep ahead of all the deer & turkey feeding .. maybe???
I C the 5 young turkey's up there each morning before they head up the drive to scratch in my straw on my new seeded grass

Don't I wish ... the deer keep everything lookin' like a lawn

Now the 1st couple of years .. the crimson clover was awsume and the turkeys went wild .. maybe this coming spring again??
