New Toy
Re: New Toy
My FIL bought one earlier this year and we've cooked on it several times. I was kind of surprised how well it works.

Re: New Toy
Dang, I think I gained 5 pounds just reading this thread. Cabela's just opened in town and they have them on sale. Sure would make a nice addition to the home and turkey camp.

Re: New Toy
Hey Tom,
Do you use pre-made spice mix for those fajitas or you roll your own custom?
Thanks

Re: New Toy
I just buy a lot of the time. I have a pretty good spice assortment, but I've come to realize buying spices to make one dish can get expensive and you may never use again and they get dated or lose potentcy. When I BBQ I will whip up a rub and sauce, but their is a lot of good stuff out there.

Re: New Toy
Hmmmm I'll have to try... It was funny one day when sal and I first got together she said at Subway y is this miracle whip so good, I'm like because it's mayonnaise???? She was hooked, through my cooking forums we discovered Duke's and it blows Hellman's away. Will try for sure
Re: New Toy
It's good stuff. I've noticed Duke's in stores but grew up on Blue Plate and can't imagine anything better. I've had Kraft, Hellman's, and Sauer mayo but none of them are as tasty as Blue Plate IMO. Give it a shot. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Oh, and I'm with ya on Miracle Whip not being Mayo..

Re: New Toy
So now seasons over we get the Blackstone out. Guys this thing's amazing, with Father's day coming ask for it. Seriously easy to cook on. I got a bunch more pics but would have to reduce size.
Pork tenderloin in a peach glaze with a balsamic vinaigrette chop salad and Cajun corn
Stir fry beef with rice noodles baby corn, carrots, peapods, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts with potstickers
