Pretty Good Haul

Noted this spring one of the places we hunt has a tremendous amount of Blackberry bushes. Went in the other day and yep.

Looked like I was on the losing end of a fight with a cougar after picking. Dropped them off at one of our widowed land owners.

It felt good to hear her say, "you are the only ones that truly respect my property and the ability to hunt there, you always send thank you cards, Christmas cards and ask. You'll always be able to hunt" We posted her property this year with her blessing, we always throw trespassers off including this year.

We got them terrible down here and I spray brush killer and round-up, on all I can .. AND get chiggers off the rest

Looks pretty good, we have the Chokecherries here and are easy to pick with no thorns and make the best jelly and syrup.

You aren't joking. Whenever I snuck out in the morning she snuck me a piece with ice cream. She always had the best pie and not just blackberry
