2018 Kansas Spring Turkey season
2018 Kansas Spring Turkey season
Had everything ready and scheduled. Nebraska and Kansas brought their season in pretty much the same time for the last 5 years. I checked last night and Kansas moved their season back a week to 4/18/2018 for regular gun season. Time to reschedule my time!

I'd leave it as is. Probably won't be as many hunters the week you scheduled.

Wow, its 10pm and just now got all my stuff rescheduled. I have a little night driving to do one night to get there but that will be fine. I will miss Iowa2 opener but that's not a big deal when your brother-in-law owns 1800 acres in eastern Iowa ( Prime ) I will still make it back home in time for the Pa. opener. Nebraska and Kansas here we go and Pray Mother Nature is in a Good mood??????

I've hunted ks opener handful of times and guided there and I think it's stupid. The birds are ready have flushed hens on a couple of occasions.
I agree with guess who lol just have last year's digest on you and play dumb lol

It's funny they moved to a wendsday opener instead of a saterday.
Re: 2018 Kansas Spring Turkey season
I’ve hunted Spring turkey in Kansas for the past 2 years and I’m thinking season started on a Wednesday last year.. I may be mistaken tho..

New to the board. We are considering coming to Kansas for some Turkey hunting this spring. Do a lot of you hunt on public land? Is that recommended? Should we utilize an outfitter? Thanks for any info any of you can provide!
Thanks
Jamie
Thanks

Welcome to GN!!!! Kansas has a lot of walk in and hunt area with a few great public area's (Glen Elder being 1) I'm going with Sunflower outfitters this year due to time constraint, cost and John seems like a hell of a guy.
