What the heck is wrong with me?

Had a few hours to hunt before school this morning because my first class got cancelled. I get out there and two birds are gobbling on separate ends of the farm. I opted for the lower and got set up and he gobbles a few times when he hits the ground and shuts up.. I ease back up on a big ridge and sit for a while and boom one starts gobbling again. He answers with some delay. I look down at my phone and it's time for me to leave for my class. It's my last day of classes and you can guess what I'm sitting here thinking about right now. That dang bird gobbled over my shoulder my whole walk out. Why didn't I just skip class

In the last 50 years I've missed many a day of ball practice and later on work because if a gobbling turkey. I bet I've had to run an e tea hundred miles worth of laps around the ball field because of it.

It put a sour taste in the mouth for the next several hours anyways. But being tied up most of the week I like to get after them when I can cause you never know when it can happen!
