Proud of her

My 9yr old, Easton called in the poults division of a NWTF sanctioned calling contest today and came out in 1st place.
Me and her mom are pretty proud of her. You would have thought she hit the lottery when they handed her the call she won.
It was just for fun but it sure lit a fire in her to become a better caller.

There wasn't much of a crowd watching but there was a pretty good showing of callers there for the different divisions. Guys showed from Pa., Ky., WV and Ohio.
It was this chapters first sanctioned event and it went pretty well.

Thanks guys! It sure lit a fire in her to call better. At her age, anything that steers them in a outdoors related direction is great.

That smile on her face says it all, I'm sure that it's hard to contain the pride that comes with raising your daughters to be so successful at such a demanding sport like turkey hunting. My hats off to you for fueling that fire.

That's good,I seen it advertised..I went to Charleston to get powder.
