20 gauge

Post by willie » March 13th, 2018, 2:09 pm

a hunting buddy of mine came by today to test the tss shot and his results were:
1. winchester sx3
2. 20 gauge 3"
3. winchester x-full turkey choke (.565) came with the gun
4. hals load 1 5/8 of #9
5. 308/10" circle
6.189/20" circle
My buddy was happy but not much wiggle room.this gun was set up using magnum blend that was getting around 125-150 in 12" circle and this is why he wasn't going to try a more open choke.poi was the same at 40 yards.

Good deal! Yeah it's a little tight, hard to get past the idea of opening up with tss. Took me a few missed 20 yard birds to get me to open up.
