I do both. Depending on the load.

Add a "both" to the poll. I do both.

I do both. Starting to roll more than fold.

Both; just depends on the load. Don't really think either is inherently better.

Well, this season I won't roll or press handloads. It'll be all brass in .410 and 20. I started out with a press, but it was a pia to set up for different hull lengths. Roll crimping was far easier to get right with less effort, and using a hand cranked vintage crimper yielded better results than what I got with a hand drill. Gil

I started with fold crimps, but switched to roll crimps pretty quickly. I load 8.5s and 9s in TSS, and also some HWT 7s, so I like the ease of writing the load on the overshot card. When I was doing both (Big20XL), I didn't see a significant difference in patterns.

Roll because I'm a newb and if I bought anymore gadgets my wife my use tss on me. Id like to do folds one day but right now I've got enough dowel rods with exacto blades laying around that for each load I've got it dialed in for rolling.

Been rolling a few with the lyman heads I found on eBay. I found a 20 a 12 and a 410. Drill press with Gaep shell holder
