Benelli M2 Pattern Results with Indian Creek 569

Post by tubecaller10 »

I finally got to pattern the gun today since the hawk wind finally decided to stop blowing here in Northeast Ms. I wanted a little bit more open pattern with the M2 since im running a 555 in my 870. Also I didn't want to listen to JohnDoe say I was overchoking again... Here are the results.

Benelli M2 20 gauge 26'' Barrel with Indian Creek 569
1 5/8 oz Tss 9s- 380 Count
Lasered 40 Yards: 37 Degrees
230 Pellets- 10"
260 Pellets- 20"

1st picture is at 20 yards just seeing how much wiggle room I have. I love it.

Hey hi hey. I'm not the one who missed a bunch of birds last year because his pattern was too tight.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that

 But you overlooked one thing........you bought an Indian Creek. Why would you spend that kind of money on a choke when you could have bought a Carlson's for $35 and achieved the same results?

You're welcome JD. I handled that one for ya.

Good looking pattern, man. I like it!

I think you have the IC choke for TSS identified. No escape from that pattern.

You are so right. 1 choke and 2 twelve packs Michelob lite. Better way to spend that $65.

I've got a .575 Carlson I'm gonna give a try in my Affinity as soon as I get it back from TNT custom camo. Shot the .555 IC last season and it rocked em but wanted to open it up a bit.

I bought a IC 555 for my M2 and after nearly missing 2 birds up close I had them spin me a 575. It is still tight at 20 yards but not near as tight as the 555. I keep the 555 in my turkey box maybe i will find a use for it one day. I am going to experiment with loading without buffer to see if it opens up the pattern at 20 but keeps it tight enough at 40. 569 might be the perfect size.
