You think the tactical with the 18.5 inch bbl would put up good numbers?

Yes, I’m sure it would! The 870’s with 18.5” barrels are putting up some impressive numbers with Indian Creek .555 and .562 chokes.

Feeling better about where your TSS patterns are now? I know you were getting frustrated with the .410s.

Not me, I don’t even own a 410 yet. But I thought they were all good with my 1 3/8oz -
2 3/4” #9 load. Had a hard time deciding between them. Which choke from the pics would everyone choose?

I like the carlson .575. That's what I shoot in my franchi affinity. Always throws a great even pattern with anything I shoot through it.

I bought mine in March of 21' but have only had it on a handful of hunts, I was shooting a .575 trulock and Tss #7's with a venom but I am going to test a few more chokes before season this year, I am stuck shooting #7's , I have some Browning's and Federal, pickings are slim up here and I didn't get around to loading any yet, I have a .560 trulock pinhoti, .568 carlson's LB,.570 tighwad and the .575 trulock that I am going to test a handful of shells from this weekend.

I just happen to come across this gun while shopping for ammo for a used Mossberg I had just bought the same evening,I never would have thought the local Canadian Tire would have had this gun for sale, as I looked for 5-6 years for one up here. Such a great handling gun, one of my favorites.

No…. Gas. I think the Mossberg SA 20 is a direct copy of the SA 459
