Has anyone modified a Burris 336 mount to fit a Nikon Spur on 870 20g. The mounting screw holes line up but studs don't. Do you think it would hurt the Spur to cut studs off the base, Then mount sight flat on base with 6-48 mounting screws?...
Thoughts on this???

I looked at the Spur during the NWTF convention off the top of my head the studs closest to the front (barrel) would need to me removed as the spur is longer.

You get either EGW or Sumtoy to make you a custom base for your Long Spur.
