Franchi Affinity 3 20 gauge choke opinions

Alright just picked up a Franchi Affinity 3 chambered in 20. Trying to decide which choke selection to choose from. Considering a jebs unsure on what constriction to try. Most of my shots are taken up close, no farther then 45 yards and a lot of 25 yard range shots. But I also need that dependability of a long range tight pattern. I will be shooting TSS. Just want people’s opinions and if you have this gun what setup is working for you. I want a pattern I can reach out far but I won’t flat out miss at 20 yards

Running a .575 Carlson’s in mine. Very happy with it and a very good hunting pattern. Shot a gobbler at 20 yards this year with Federal 9’s. Stone cold dead but by no means ripped his head off.

.575 still hold tight at longer shots?

Yes I wouldn’t be afraid to go 50 any day with it if need be.

Are you hand loading or buying your shells? I shot an Indian Creek 570 with 1-5/8 oz hand loads. Kills both near and far

I’m going to try apex TSS and see how it does. But. Need to start with right choke. I’ll spend money on different rounds all day vs buying different chokes. I’m considering a .560 or .565 jebs and try some apex

I run a .585 in mine but I shoot the big 20xl. Carlson’s .575 does good in mine as well. I’d buy the Carlson’s and spend the rest of the cash on more shells.

I bought a Franchi Affinity 3 20ga a few months ago. The Carlsons .575 extended tube puts up a nice 280 or so pattern at 40yds out of mine with Apex shells. I tried an IC .555 after switching to 1 7/8 handloads and I think that's too much choke for that much shot so I switched back to the Carlsons.

Seems to me theres a lot of folks that like the .575. My .575 choke (undertaker) was throwing 325 in a 10" @40.

I like the undertaker .582 and I shoot the 90/93 load with it.
My gun is an original Affinity and not a 3.

The 582 gave me the best hunting pattern inside 40, but had enough core to kill at 60.

I have a sumtoy. 562 in my affinity 3 it shoots every shell well!!! Ive shot the fed heavy 7 the fed tss #9, apex #9 and the apex smalltown thru it. All shoot excellent !
Killed my last 8 birds with that gun and choke. All but this year's were fed heavy 7. Shot this year's with tss.
I feel anything inside a 60 yard perimeter is in trouble. 53 yards is the longest shot though.
