Nicely done! Congrats.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Gil, there are no safe queens at my house! Rigged up a second 28 to pet. Sold the third one (it’s In the classifieds right now). BG this is a CZ (Huglu, Turkey) Bobwhite tricked out. Chokes, sights, Parkerized barrels.

Nice bird.
I have never seen the strap on a gun in that direction.
What's the reasoning behind it?

Re: The 28 Rises To Speak
For turkey hunting. I carry that way for two reasons. One it diminishes the profile above my head while ducking under bushes etc. Second it puts the gun at the ready SO much faster. My left hand naturally rides on the foreend and I can simply slide it off my shoulder and I am “in battery “, Muzzle control and awareness is paramount however and I don’t advocate it for everyone. I hunt alone and keep muzzle forwards away from feet/legs/mud. It becomes second nature but I still check.

I too carry mine that way on occasion when the going gets thick but I just carry it with the wrong end of the strap. It never dawned on me to put the strap on the other way!!!
