Bocephus 90/93

Post by Hoobilly »

my buddy Bo picked up a gun show 870 20ga and decided to jump on the lighter gun bandwagon..

shot a few loads I sent him to pattern test and he wasnt impressed.. sent him some more and more so unimpressed

he finally broke down and did a hone and a polish as he could see imperfections in the barrel. after doing all that hard work and having a day like today with 69 degree temps and no wind he decided to try another 90/93

He called me and texted me a picture cause he thought it was gooder. He called me after counting and could not believe it!

375 in the 10 at 40 yards! 555 IndianCreek and a short 21" barrel!

After looking at your other post, that appears to be the 409 12 ga pattern..lol
If that other had been shot at 40 it would be a little higher in pellet count.

For a 20 this 1 5/8 load is pretty wicked

To be the 90/93 you gots to have the 93! Wish BPI would bring it back but if they don’t, I bought enough from Tommy to last every scenario except a zombie apocalypse!

And the 93 is the wad? If so, what wad does Apex use and how does it differ from the 93?

No doubt the 90/93 is a tough load. I'm getting 325/185ish @ 40 in my 26" 870 with .575 Carlson.

What I was saying about the pic is that it appears to be the same pic you posted in the Tennessee Twister thread.
