Tristar 410 Scorcher

Post by youngun15 »

Thing impressed the hell out of me today. Shot the factory turkey choke that came with it and wasnt too impressed. 93 #9s in a 10" and 112 #10s. Ordered a CompNchoke .385 for it and got my FF3 sighted in and it flat burned it down. Got 128 #9s in 10" and 195 #10s in 10"!!
Target was at 36 yards so my lose a couple but it flat out impressed me. Had 151 in the 20".

Dang, a 410 and TSS is no joke.

I bet 9.5’s in 18.5 density would be a sweet combination

It was a limited run that came like that and with a rail. I added the ff3, choke, and sling

Thats a sweet lil boy there . 3 friends bought skme of the 100 special run . Has to call on Garret ( Owner Tristar Son ) to get me a 28 inch gun . ima shoot some doves with it also . Really impressed buy Chobrowns mossy and had to take the dive ... Mine is doing 130 to 160 in 10 at 40 with Jebs XFull and apex 9.5 load . doing 130 to 150 with Firecracker 9.5 load and am going to drop down to some #9's in next loading . 3 kills so far this spring . one Osceola , 2 Easterns , 32 yd , 44 yd and 33 yds . last one was a 1 1/4 inch , 22lb 11 oz doubke beard 10.5 and 8.5 inches . my best bird ( weight wise ) all time (37 years ). To say I am impressed would be an understatement ! With the 9.5 's 50 is well doable with TSS and our 410's !!
