I shoot that exact setup (barrel length, payload, and shot size) and I'd highly recommend the Carlson's .575!

Use a load with the VP90 wad!!! The kicks will chew up any other wad!!! VP92 or csd wads. My 870 with a kicks .560, and a 21” barrel liked the Big 20 Stubby XL load. Steve

That's a great pattern. I wonder if the 560 will be to tight with the 26" barrel

Sumtoy .562 shot a lot better in a 26” than a 21” barrel for me. 286 in the 10 vs 264. 8x9 load. Both are awesome patterns

I personally like my .555 Indian Creek in my 21" barrel but in reality it's to tight, but I use a high quality red dot and try to shoot like I'm shooting a rifle and try to not let them get closer than 20 yards doesn't always work out and really have to take a fine bead on the shot then. With that said , a.562 Indian Creek or Sumtoy shoot some amazing hunting patterns and do not over look the .575 Carlson, my son uses it with great success in His 870 20 gauge.
