Trulock .560 choke

Has anybody tried the Trulock.560 with a load of tss 9’s. I would like to see some patterns if possible. Thanks

That is the Trulock Fed Heavyweight #7 choke. The photo is close to the "average" pattern I get with an 1 3/8 oz load of 9's out of a 20 gauge at 40 yards. I get an average of 284 in the 10 inch circle and 133 in the 20 inch circle. This is out of a Remington 21" barrel. It's got a dense core and thins out pretty quickly in the 20" circle.

I have a Carlson.565 and tightwad.570 to try just waiting on some shot. I plan on running 1 5/8 thru these chokes hopefully something will work.

Same load through a Carlson .575 flush mount turkey choke. It's a more even distribution between the 10" and 20", but I need to tweak things to try to get rid of the holes in the 20" ring...

How are going to tweak things? I am new to all of this but I have noticed a hole in my pattern as well, so if there's something I can do to help it, I'd like to know. Thanks in advance!

More open chokes tend to help even the patterns.

Suggestions for tweaking loads to improve patterns gleaned from past posts on this board-
• Reduce amount of buffer used (if part of recipe)
• Change the slit depth or number of slits on the wad
• Drop the powder charge a little
• Try a different choke on your gun
