ITX Recipe for 20 gauge

Post by HavenHunter »

I'm going to start loading for an 870 20 gauge and I'm waiting on some #9's that won't be in till mid Februrary. I have some ITX #6's on hand that I would like to start shooting but don't have a recipe for loading them. Does anyone have any experience loading them in the 20? If so, would you please share the recipe with me. I've used it as a back-up load in my 12 and have killed turkeys with it, they don't like a size 6 to the snoot so I'm hoping someone can help me out with a recipe. Thanks in advance.

You can find some data at ballistic products. Under load of week section. Look up archived loads. You have to look at them all to find some of what you need. The invincible loads use lil gun I believe. Seems like csd20 wads were pretty common component. I'll look in my rsi book and see if there is anything in there.
