Great pattern
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have no need for a 30-06, I have a shotgun

So I've had a question related to this since I bought a Kick GT670 for my SX3. Are Kick's chokes save with Hevi-shot and TSS? I've shot Hevi-Shot through my GT 655 in my 870 SM for several years without issue. I know Kick's says their chokes aren't designed for HTL, but does anyone know a good reason? I've never heard of one getting shot out or ruining a barrel.

Thanks Jason, I've had the choke for about 20 years, and it never really patterned that well with lead shot. But man was I shocked when I shot TSS 9's through it!!!

NICE PATTERN!!!.........I am getting numbers similar to that in my M2 with a .555 IC tube with Hal's Big 20 XL load but I'm going to give his Stubby load a try as well as his new 2 1/8 oz. load.

Thanks, I don't think the 2 1/8 load will cycle in your M2, and I think it's to much for a semi auto. Try the Stubby, and I think you will like the wad.

I wondered about the recoil being too much for a auto and you are probably correct there, I was going to run Hal's MOA 20 load in the chamber and 2 Stubby loads in the magazine.

Strut, have you tried the Lil Zip load? I think with the wad it uses will pattern better through your I C choke. My Kicks GT ate the wad up in the MOA load. Let me know your results of which one you shoot. Good luck, but I wouldn't shoot the MOA load in your M2.

No I didn't get the Lil Zip recipe from Hal but I did get his Big 20 Stubby load recipe, does it use the same wad? I really like the Big 20 XL load but have a hard time getting it short enough to cycle in my M2, does anybody make a spring kit For the 20 ga. M2 as even the Big 20 XL load has purdy stiff recoil?

How much hull are you trimming? I've shot the BIG 20 XL in a M1 and M2 with no problems.

I am leaving about 3/16" sticking above the OSC, I have got them to where they cycle fine now as they are .015 to .020 shorter than a 3" Fed. Heavyweight. In the beginning they were too long but after some trial and error I got it figured out.
