WBY 28 GA SA-08 SLING SETUP RECS?

Setting up the wby sa-08 28 gauge.

Kryptek Mandrake Camo.

VX2 1-4x20 once drilled and tapped.

Will strictly be a turkey gun.

Anyone install their own swivel studs, or come up with a better way to mount a sling?

Wby is unaware of a replacement magazine cap with a swivel stud on it.

Do a barrel mount clamp on and then a regular stud in stock. Maybe shim a 20 ga bbl band if it won't take up enough room ??? Just a thought

I put a push button quick connect on mine and love it. Simple as drilling a hole through the cap and using a flat screw (has to be low profile to fit) with a nut and some locktite. Lightweight, easy to remove and has held up for 4 years and about 100 hunts so far.

Thanks for replies...think I have it figured out. The place Cerakote/hydrographics'ing it for me is installing a setup like toasty advises for me.
