Possibly - but I won't see him until Saturday. Bump it up then. His 20 ga 870 throws a nice pattern and I think he has at least two Indian Creek chokes for it.

If you are on a budget try Primos Tightwad .570. Shooting tss right? That stuff doesn't require expensive chokes.

I agree with el diablo, that $15 tightwad does very well with T9's in the 870. That was the first choke I ever tried when I first started shooting tss. That gun is long gone, but it averaged about 280 with the TW. Dad still shoots one in a youth 870, his runs a bit closer to 300.

I think I will try one...why did you give up on the 20 gauge?

If the tightwad doesn't work for you try R.E.M. Super Full and then Trulock 585.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that

Cuz 28's are so much cooler than 20's! 8-) Think it's been 5 or 6 years now, since I left the 20. I haven't loooked back yet.

JD's right....RSF and .585 TL are 2 more cost friendly, effective options. The Bass Pro Redhead brand "blackout choke" works very well too. It's .575 I believe, runs around $40....and looks a whole lot that Indian creek!

Bass Pro Blackout choke tubes are glorified Carlson tubes. ;)

Don't discount the factory full choke until you shoot it with a clean bbl. I was gonna hunt with mine, but a Sumtoy .562 I had turned out slightly better for a hunting pattern. Hal's big 20XL load.
