SA-459 or PA-459 chokes (best options)

Just hoping to here from guys to help me narrow my list of choices. What chokes are are you running with Federal HW #7?


Also what chokes with TSS #9?

Would love to see choke pics on your rigs and any pattern pics you have too.

I would love to shoot a load of TSS through it, just to see what it would look like..

They'll have a hard time escaping that pattern out to 55, actually 60. When I was shooting HW7s a few years ago, I misjudged a couple in fields way too far and it did them both in.

I have an SA459 and with TSS 9 it does the following: Factory choke - 235 hits, Primos Tight wad choke 265 hits, and Indian creek .555 choke 305 hits with the 2 3/4 inch 1 5/8 oz load. I have not tried the Fed hvywt 7's out of it

I have a regular SA 08. I run a sumtoy 562-5 with fed 7s. Its average is in the 160. I've shot high 180 down to 150 patterns with it. It flat stomps a turkey though....55 yards.....all day long.


This gun also patterns federal 6s in the 120s with a pure gold 570 tempest. It shoots tss 9 in the 280s
