28ga numbers

Post by jrseale82 »

Just curious as to what numbers the 28ga guns are putting up. Post your results and include load, shot size, yardage, gun, choke, ect. Look forward to seeing everyones results!

I like that setup Doc! Where would one go about procuring Hevi 9's? Just curious.

No worries! I've only got one barrel on the Franchi! Although the Woodcock does have 2....hmmmm  Maybe next year.
How far can you stretch those 9's? Or, at what point do you decide a bird is close enough to smother down with em?

We've killed birds at 30 w/them. Stone dead. I'm of the opinion that I have a 10-20 barrel and a 25+ barrel w/a good overlap if I misjudge distance. I would be happy to never pull the left trigger (T9's) and kill 'em all w/Hevishot but we both know that ain't gonna happen! :toothy7:

Sounds about like the perfect setup to me. Wish my Woodcock had double triggers.
