Franchi 48AL, factory full choke, 1-5/16oz of T9.5's @ 40

I shoot a CZ Bobwhite. T9's in left barrel w/Trulock XXF (special order) 220 in 10" @ 40 yds. Hevishot 9's in right barrel w/Briley IC 345 in 10" @ 20 yds.

No worries! I've only got one barrel on the Franchi! Although the Woodcock does have 2....hmmmm Maybe next year.DocHolliday wrote:BPI.

How far can you stretch those 9's? Or, at what point do you decide a bird is close enough to smother down with em?

We've killed birds at 30 w/them. Stone dead. I'm of the opinion that I have a 10-20 barrel and a 25+ barrel w/a good overlap if I misjudge distance. I would be happy to never pull the left trigger (T9's) and kill 'em all w/Hevishot but we both know that ain't gonna happen!
